We hear about "change" everyday. Either someone wants us to change, we want to change, we want to change things around us, or vice versa of all the previously stated. As teens, sometimes we feel that we are powerless and that our actions go either unseen or unappreciated. YouthNoise seeks to defy these standards and create a network for teens that want change, to make change.

YouthNoise is a non profit "that operates the Link Network, the largest independent broadcaster in the US." The network allows teens off-line and on-line support that enables them to take action under a mass of different causes. It also allows teens from across the world to connect with others on similar causes. Channels have been set up for causes that have overwhelming residence in the day-to-day lives of many teens. Blogging and discourse through the cyber-net allows for more insight and thought from a variety of different sources and cultures

There are "158,000 registered users from all 50 states and 176 countries," so this is no small group. These users enter the site and give updates through Action Plans. You want to share your story of activism, log it in the Action Plan. Need help organizing and reaching out beyond your city; get on the Action Plan, have an upcoming event or rally; enter it in the Action Plan, still feel like you need to get more involved; check out what is available to you through the Action Plan portion ofYouthNoise.com.
