It's common knowledge that tobacco kills. Most people think about cigarettes, cigars, and chew when they think about tobacco. That's all changed with the roll out of many new smokeless and spit-free new tobacco products that literally melt in the mouth.

The Meltdown Campaign is about exposing these new tobacco products to the public. The way the new products are flavored, packaged, and marketed make it seem like they would be more appealing to youth. Y St. members are collecting surveys to see what people think of the new products and spreading the word by getting people to check out www.meltdownva.com.

ACTOUT
The ActOut Campaign is about motivating teens all over Virginia to have fun and be healthy by getting involved in new, exciting, and different types of sports. The ActOut Campaign makes it easy for teenagers to try out new activities by partnering up with the local gyms, studios, or recreation centers for special discounts or even free intro sessions!

Y-Sters are surveying their friends to find out what activities people want to try out, plan intro sessions for those activities, and get support from local businesses to make it happen. For more information, check out ActOutVA.com.
